LIFE colossus Mother Moth by OttBettina LIFE colossus Mother Moth by OttBettina

Toxic female moth.
Most parts of her body are toxic as well as the orange hair that fall off by contact and poison the air around them.
She uses her claws and tentacles for near range attacks. She carries her eggs on her lower body. If she is in danger the eggs usually hatch and the caterpillars will attack the enemies along with her.

Great Design. It's seems somewhat eerie....I would be afraid to fuck with that thing.
On a lighter note the background looks excellent of course. ;)

so many awesome entries, will i even stand a chance! is traditional media given less priority than digital in contests, just asking!

I don't think so, traditional media can look more touching than digital artwork. Enter the contest too, it's quite fun and don't forget that it's not about winning but for the experience and participating. I also think that you can never say who wins a devArt contest before the winners are chosen. Of course it's good if you submit a piece that you spent time on instead of submitting a quick paint or sketch. But usually I am surprised of the winners of devArt contests, so I think everyone got a chance, especially in this contest it's very important that the idea and concept is good and not just how good or how detailed it's drawn.
Give it a try ;) and good luck!
